Duties and Responsibilities:
- Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department.
- Carries out full range of clinical duties as assigned by the Director of Radiodiagnostics & Medical Imaging in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges.
- Responsible for the maintenance of high standards of diagnostics examinations.
- Responsible for the implementation of radiation protection procedures.
- Responsible for consultation with medical staff on the radiological investigation of their patients in order to decide whether any examination requested is appropriate or necessary.
- Rotates through each imaging sub-specialty as required by the Director of Radiodiagnostics & Medical Imaging and is expected to have sufficient breadth of training to undertake this rotation.
- Will be required to attend all departmental meetings.
- Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department.
- Teaches staff assigned for training purposes, and participates with the Director of Radiodiagnostics & Medical Imaging planning a programme career development for trainees.
- Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Total Quality Management Programme, Quality Assessment Improvement Programme) as applicable.
- Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education.
- Participate in the forward planning, and further development of the department.
- Deputizes for his superior as required and shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues.
- Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness.

- Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.
- At least 5 years experience in reporting PET-CT IMAGE
Education:
Graduate from a recognized medical school. Saudi Board or equivalent higher qualification in Radiology. Master Degree in Nuclear Medicine
